It is the pick for positions where you want the most light from the fewest units, and where the light sits where people can look up into it. The cross-hatched face is what makes this one different from the plain, eyelid and crossing variants: it takes the glare away without costing you the output.

What the grille does

A plain diffuser shows you the LEDs through the polycarbonate, and at 2000 lumens that line of sight becomes glare. The Grille Crossing faceplate sits in front of the inner lens and breaks the light across a cross-hatch pattern, so the eye meets the pattern instead of the chips. The trade is handled in the housing: because the grille needs room, the body is 5mm deeper than the plain version, φ360×135mm against the 130mm of the others. The mounting footprint does not change, so it goes on the same plate as the rest of the series.

Two outputs in the 360mm series

Every member of the series runs a fixed 20W. The plain diffuser gives 1700 lumens, and the grille, eyelid and crossing faces each step up to 2000 lumens, which is the level you want in a wide car park forecourt or a large retail unit rather than a narrow corridor. Colour temperature is chosen at the bench: it is a 3CCT build, so you pick 2800K warm white, 4000K neutral or 6500K cool white before the housing is closed.

Build and mounting

The housing is die-cast aluminium, finished in white, black or silver gray. The inner diffuser and the outer grille face are both anti-UV polycarbonate, so neither yellows with age. A gasketed seal between the housing and the diffuser holds the IP65 rating, and the IK10 impact rating means the grille face shrugs off the knocks a car park or a sports hall throws at it. The driver is sealed inside the body, so nothing else mounts to the wall. It is a surface mount on the four back-plate fixing points, Class I, wired direct to the mains through the internal terminal block.

Control

The base unit is a standard on/off fixture. It switches with the circuit, a wall switch, a timer or an external sensor, and it does not dim. Where a project wants DALI dimming, motion control or an emergency backup, the emergency and wall-packed members of the 360mm series carry those; they share the same housing and mounting but use different internal drivers, so they are specified together rather than confused with this one.

What is in the box

Each unit ships as a single fixture with the driver already wired in, the Grille Crossing face fitted, the mounting hardware in the box, and the terminal block ready to connect. Nothing else is packed inside, so it is ready to wire straight to the supply.

What you need to supply

You need the four back-plate fixings for the mount and a protected circuit with a protective earth. For an outdoor install, check the spot sits within the IP65 zone and that the seal stays closed. A screwdriver and wire strippers cover the job.

Where it gets used

It is built for the outside of commercial buildings, and the rough inside of big ones. Car park canopies and retail forecourts use it to cover more ground with fewer fixtures. Warehouse aisles and loading bays take the high output and the IK10 face, so the light and the fixture both survive the traffic. Perimeter positions around sports halls and multi-purpose spaces use the grille to keep the light comfortable at eye level. Near the coast, the powder-coated body and sealed driver handle the salt air.

Certifications and warranty

The ILED-BH-R3602-GL carries SAA for Australia and New Zealand, CE for Europe, and RoHS. The warranty runs from three to five years, depending on the region and distributor terms. The sealed body and gasketed grille mean you do not open the unit; a wipe of the face keeps it looking right.

The ILED-BH-R3602-GL is the Grille Crossing variant of the 360mm round bulkhead, the largest in the iLED range.
