The ILED-IG15 U DMX is the DMX512 inground uplight series for ground-recessed colour work: facades, plazas, columns and landscape features where the light sits in the pavement and points up. It runs RGB or RGBW on a safe 24VDC supply, sealed to IP67, in a 304 stainless steel frame that sits flush in the ground and takes the traffic around it. Five sizes cover the range, so one product family handles everything from a narrow column wash to a wide tree uplight.<\/p>\n
The series runs from small to large in five steps. The U1 is \u03c6120mm with three LEDs at 3-6W, recessed in a \u03c6100mm hole. The U2 steps up to \u03c6160mm, nine LEDs and 6-18W in a \u03c6130mm hole. The U3 reaches \u03c6180mm, twelve LEDs and 12-24W. The U4 is \u03c6230mm, twenty-four LEDs and 24-48W. The U5 is the largest at \u03c6260mm, thirty-six LEDs and 36-54W in a \u03c6222mm hole. Pick the size by the width of the object being lit and how far the fixture can sit back from it.<\/p>\n
The RGB and RGBW versions are controlled over DMX512, either from the driver built into the fixture or from an external DMX controller, which covers both simple setups and larger shows run from a console. RGB mixes colour from the three channels; RGBW adds a dedicated white channel, so the same fixture can run a clean white for ordinary nights and full colour for events. The range also includes single-colour versions in 3000K through 6000K and in red, green or blue for schemes that never change, all on the same housings. Addressing is set per fixture, so a console can group them by zone, facade, paths and trees, and run each zone as its own scene.<\/p>\n
Each fixture is a 304 stainless steel frame over an aluminium body with a tempered glass face. The 304 frame is the grade that stands up to outdoor washing and roadside air, and the tempered glass takes the wheel loads and heel strikes that pavement fixtures collect. Sealing is IP67, which is what a ground-recessed fixture needs against rain, washdown and standing water after a storm. The light source is Osram power LEDs, with colour rendering above 80 on the white settings.<\/p>\n
Everything runs on 24VDC, so the supply sits in a pit or box away from the wet and the fixtures carry only low voltage. Each fixture has a 30cm input lead with a female waterproof connector and a 30cm output lead with a male one, so fixtures daisy-chain pit to pit without cutting or jointing cables in the ground. Each model’s cut-out is listed in the spec table; set the recess on a drainage layer so the pit does not hold water, and keep the cable loops loose enough for the fixture to be lifted out for service.<\/p>\n
Building facades and columns take the narrow-beam versions for vertical wash. Plazas and walkways use them recessed along paths and steps, where the flush frame keeps the surface walkable. Landscape and tree lighting runs the larger sizes set back from trunks. Driveways and car park edges use the smaller sizes as markers. Bridges and public monuments specify the RGBW versions for event colour, and hotel and restaurant exteriors use the same fixtures for both everyday white and evening colour scenes.<\/p>\n
