It is built for the rooms where you want colour or tunable white in the ceiling but do not want to run a control system to every fixture.

The three sizes

There are three models, all running from the same 24V supply and the same Tuya wireless control. The 7W head is the smallest, a 64mm body with a 55mm cutout, for a reading nook, a small display or a single accent point. The 12W head is 85mm with a 75mm cutout, the size that suits a dining area, a desk or a group of displays. The 18W head is 105mm with a 95mm cutout, the one to use where you need more light from a single position. Each head takes one of three lenses, 15° for a tight spot, 24° for an all-round accent and 38° for a wider wash, and the lens is the one to pick when you order, because it is fitted in the factory, not swapped in the field.

The wireless side

The control is a Tuya wireless module, and that is the point of the fixture. You pair each head to the Tuya Smart app on a phone, set the colour and the brightness from there, and the app also lets you group the heads into scenes, run schedules and turn them into voice-assistant controls through Tuya. There is no DMX or DALI bus to wire, and no separate hub to install, so the ceiling stays clean. The heads still carry the 20cm input and 20cm output five-wire cables, which is how they share the 24V supply across a run; the wireless side handles the control, not the power.

Colour and the lens

The light source is an RGB or RGBW COB, so the 7W, 12W and 18W heads mix colour from the chip set rather than from separate bulbs. The RGB version mixes red, green and blue for the colour washes, and the RGBW version adds a dedicated white channel, which is the one to use where the room needs a clean white key light as well as the colour. The lens you order decides how the light comes out: 15° throws a tight pool on a single object, 24° is the all-round accent, and 38° opens the light up for a wider wash over a shelf or a wall. Because the lens is fitted at the factory, the right angle is the one to confirm when you order, not the one to swap later.

Body and installation

The body is aluminum with a PC front, and each head recesses into its cutout, 55mm, 75mm or 95mm depending on the size, and sits flush with the ceiling. The input is DC24V, so the heads run from a 24V supply, and the 20cm input and output cables on each head are what let you run several of them on the same circuit. The IP42 rating means it is a dry-indoor fixture, so it is aimed at ceilings in living rooms, offices and the like, not a bathroom or a wet space. It is Class I, so the installation needs a proper earth on the 24V side of the circuit.

Où est-il utilisé ?

Living rooms where a coloured accent wash on a feature wall is wanted but the ceiling is not going to carry a control wire. Reading corners and home offices where a tunable white key light is more useful than a fixed warm or cool spot. Small retail or display areas where a run of heads on the same 24V supply gives a coloured or white wash over a counter, with the whole run controlled from one phone. And any room where the wiring is already done and the only thing missing is a way to change the colour without opening the ceiling again.

The ILED-CL-A C7 is a wireless RGB or RGBW COB downlight in three sizes: 7W, 12W and 18W.
