What it does
The ILED-IG1-4 A is a single-side LED deck light you set into the ground or embed in a low wall, so it washes one face at a time. It is not a round uplighter that throws up; it projects to one side, which is what makes it the right fit for a step edge, a path border, or a deck line where you only want light on one direction. It is a low-voltage 12V or 24V unit, so it suits outdoor and damp locations.
Four sizes
The family runs in four bodies. ILED-IG1 A is the smallest at φ42mm, 1W. ILED-IG2 A is φ52mm, 1W. ILED-IG3 A is φ62mm, 1 to 3W. ILED-IG4 A is the largest at φ75mm, 1 to 3W. All four are one-side lighting on a 30° beam. The smaller two suit a single step or a tight border; the larger two cover a wider line. Each has its own cut-hole, so match the size to the opening you cut.
One side, 30° beam
Every unit lights one side only, which is the whole point of the A version. A 30° beam gives a defined, directional wash rather than a soft spread. That reads as a clean line of light along a step or a wall face. If you want the light on both sides of a central border, that is the B version, the double-side model, not this one. Here you point the single face where you want the light to land.
Colour and temperature
Choose a single white from the 2800K to 6500K range, or pick red, green, or blue. The white covers a warm to cool range, so you match the tone to the space. The coloured versions are for a feature edge or a walkway you want to mark out. The LED source is a high-power chip, and the output is 85 to 90 lumens per watt, so a 3W unit gives a strong line for its size.
Power: 12V or 24V, DC or AC
The input is 12V or 24V, and it is available on DC or AC, so it fits both the low-voltage DC runs and the AC outdoor circuits. Keep the supply dry and out of the wet area. Size the supply to the number of lights on the line. Because it is low voltage, it is the safe choice for a place you walk or stand near.
Build and materials
The body is 304 stainless steel and the face is tempered glass. That is the combination that lets it sit in the ground, take foot traffic, and still clear years of weather without corroding. The stainless holds its finish, and the tempered glass spreads the light and shields the source. It is a small, sealed unit, so little can wear out.
IP67 or IP68
The unit is rated IP67, with an IP68 option. IP67 is sealed against dust and against temporary immersion, which covers spray, rain, and a brief flood. IP68 is the deeper-immersion rating for the locations that sit underwater for longer. Pick the rating to the site. The cuthole and the body stay tight, so the joint does not open in the weather.
Installation
Each size has a set cut-hole: φ40mm for the φ42 body, φ46mm for the φ52 body, φ56mm for the φ62 body, and φ64mm for the φ75 body. Cut the opening in the step, deck, or wall to that diameter, set the unit in, and point the light face where you want it. Wire the low-voltage supply. The body is shallow, so it seats flush with a finished surface.
Where it gets used
Use the ILED-IG1-4 A on step edges, walkway borders, deck and terrace lines, low retaining walls, and the base of a hedge or a feature stone. Because it lights one side, it is the right pick for a single-direction line rather than a centred border. The 30° beam keeps it crisp. Where a design wants the light on both sides of a walk, that is the B, double-side model. The IP67 or IP68 body is what suits the outdoor, wet spot.
What you need to supply
A 12V or 24V power supply sized to the load on the line. The cut-tool for the hole your size specifies. The unit, its body, and the face are all in the box. Keep the supply dry and the line will hold up.
Lifespan and reliability
The high-power chip, the 304 stainless steel, and the tempered glass are the parts that keep it going, and the supplier backs it with a 2-year warranty. It is sealed, has no moving parts, and runs on a low-voltage supply, so the failure points are few. Keep the face out of a direct impact and it holds up. It is CE and RoHS certified.
