300W LED High Bay Lights Tower Hanging ILED-HB-B300W
The ILED-HB-B300W is a 300W tower-hanging LED high bay light putting out 36,000 lumens at 120 lumens per watt, built for high-mast and sports-tower positions. It runs on LumiLEDs or CREE LED sources with a choice of 25, 60 or 90 degree beam angles, a colour temperature range of 2800–6500K, and DALI dimming available. The housing is IP65-rated aluminium in black, Φ368×510mm, on dual voltage 220-240VAC or 110-277VAC, Class I wired with SAA, CE and RoHS certification and a three-to-five-year warranty.

The ILED-HB-B300W is the 300W member of the HB-B tower-hanging high bay series. It is built for positions where the fixture hangs high on a tower or mast and has to throw usable light a long way down: sports fields, large yards and perimeter areas. It shares its housing with the 400W model in the series, so the two can be mixed on one site with the same look and the same mounting, choosing wattage by the coverage each pole needs.
Light output
The fixture runs a 300W LED load at 120 lumens per watt, giving 36,000 lumens from the housing. The source is LumiLEDs or CREE, and the colour temperature spans 2800–6500K, so a project can run warm white around a clubhouse or plaza and cooler white over the field itself. Colour rendering is above 70, which is the honest figure for a high-mast floodlight: the priority at this mounting height is throw and coverage, and the spec reflects that. Next to the 400W model in the series, this 300W suits poles where the lit area is tighter or where more fixtures at lower output spread the light more evenly across the site.
Beam options
Three beam angles are available: 25, 60 and 90 degrees. The 25-degree optic is the pick for towers set well back from the area they light, where the beam has to reach. The 60-degree version covers a general field or yard from a central pole. The 90-degree optic suits shorter mounting heights and wider coverage from the same point. Specify the angle per pole position rather than per project, since mixed layouts are common on larger sites.
Build and mounting
The housing is aluminium with a PC lens cover, finished in black, and measures Φ368×510mm. It is IP65-rated against dust and water jets, which is what a tower-mounted fixture needs, since it lives outdoors in the weather all year. It hangs from the top of the pole or tower on its mounting bracket, Class I wired, and the driver sits inside the housing. The power factor is above 0.9, which keeps the cable runs and the supply sizing sensible across a site.
Control and dimming
DALI dimming is available, so the fixtures can be grouped and dimmed from a control system where the site wants zoning or event lighting levels. The base unit runs on 220-240VAC or 110-277VAC, covering regional supplies without separate stock lines.
What you need to supply
You need the pole or tower with its mounting plate prepared, a supply cable run to the top that is rated for the site’s conditions, and a protected circuit for each row of fixtures. Where DALI dimming is wanted, the DALI power supply and controller are separate purchases. Fixings and a torque wrench for the bracket cover the mechanical side of the install.
Where it gets used
Sports fields and stadiums hang it on their tower rows, where the 36,000-lumen output and the narrow 25-degree option carry light across the playing area. Car parks and large storage yards use it on perimeter poles for wide, even coverage. Ports and logistics yards light their container and loading areas from masts with the 60-degree optic. Perimeter and security lighting around airports, plants and depots runs it through the night, which is where the DALI zoning earns its place. Public plazas and civic areas take the 90-degree version for general amenity lighting from fewer poles.
Certifications and warranty
The ILED-HB-B300W carries SAA for Australia and New Zealand, CE for Europe, and RoHS. The warranty runs from three to five years, depending on the region and the terms of the order. The sealed IP65 body means no routine work inside the housing; a wash of the lens face during scheduled maintenance keeps the output where it should be.
Why do buyers pick these over the alternatives? Here is what we hear from customers:
36,000 lumens from 300W. At 120 lumens per watt, one fixture does the work of a much larger metal-halide unit, which is what lets a site retire its old lamp changes and the crane hire that comes with them.
Three beam angles, one housing. The 25, 60 and 90 degree options cover long-throw towers, general yards and wide plazas, so one product line handles the whole site and the spares list stays short.
Built for the mast. An IP65 aluminium body in black, made to live outdoors on a tower through the seasons, with the driver sealed inside the housing.
DALI where you want it. Fixtures can be grouped and dimmed from a control system, which is how sites run security levels at night and event levels on demand.
SAA, CE and RoHS. One product clears Australia, New Zealand and Europe, so a mixed-market project does not need two SKUs.
Use 25 degrees for towers set well back from the area being lit, where the beam has to reach. Use 60 degrees for general field or yard coverage from a central pole, and 90 degrees where the mounting height is lower and the coverage needs to be wide. Larger sites often mix them by pole position.
Same housing, same Φ368×510mm body and same beam options. The 300W gives 36,000 lumens and the 400W gives 48,000, so the choice comes down to the coverage each pole needs and the mounting distance.
The range is 2800–6500K, so a site can run warm white around buildings and plazas and cooler white over working areas, specified per order.
Yes, DALI dimming is available, so fixtures can be grouped and dimmed from a control system. The base unit runs without it, switching with the circuit.
That is what it is built for. The housing is IP65 against dust and water jets, in die-cast aluminium, and it hangs from the pole or tower top on its mounting bracket.
Both 220-240VAC and 110-277VAC, so one stock line covers regional supplies. The power factor is above 0.9, which keeps cable runs and supply sizing sensible.
LumiLEDs or CREE, as specified for the order. Colour rendering is above 70, which is the honest figure for a high-mast floodlight where throw and coverage lead the spec.
SAA for Australia and New Zealand, CE for Europe, and RoHS. The warranty runs three to five years depending on the region.
The ILED-HB-B300W is a tower-hanging LED high bay for high-mast outdoor lighting, where the fixture lives on a pole and throws light across a large area.
Sports fields and stadiums. Tower rows use the 36,000-lumen output, with the 25-degree optic carrying light across the playing surface from masts set well back.
Car parks and storage yards. Perimeter poles take the 60-degree optic for wide, even coverage across bays and access lanes through the night.
Ports and logistics terminals. Container yards and loading areas light from masts, where the DALI zoning separates working rows from storage areas after hours.
Perimeter and security lighting. Airports, plants and depots run it through the night on their fence lines and gate areas, where the IP65 body handles the weather.
Construction and mining sites. Temporary and semi-permanent towers use the same fixture as the permanent installs around them, so the spares list stays short.
Public plazas and civic areas. The 90-degree optic gives general amenity coverage from fewer poles, keeping the pole count, the cable runs and the maintenance walk-down shorter over the life of the site.
