The ILED-DL-B T2 is a large recessed LED downlight built for ceiling holes that standard fixtures do not cover. It is aimed at commercial retrofits where the existing cutout is too big for a normal downlight and re-cutting the ceiling is not practical.
Range and models
Four models share the same design and differ in size. The ILED-DL6-B T2 is 195mm in diameter by 51mm deep, with a cutout of 165-180mm. The ILED-DL8-B T2 is 230mm by 51mm, cutout 200-220mm. The ILED-DL10-B T2 is 285mm by 60mm, cutout 245-270mm. The ILED-DL12-B T2 is 305mm by 69mm, cutout 270-290mm. All four run 15W to 35W and put out 2,000 to 4,000 lm at 120 lm/W. The profile is low — 51 to 69mm deep — so the fixture sits close to the ceiling line and does not intrude into the room.
Modular heatsink
All four models use the same heatsink module. For an installer stocking spare parts, one module covers the whole range, so a repair in the field is a module swap rather than a full fixture replacement. Thermal behavior is consistent across sizes because the module is the same, and the aluminum body handles heat passively — no fans, no moving parts, no maintenance.
Light source
The fixture uses LM80-certified LEDs, a rating that tracks lumen maintenance over time. Color rendering is available in two grades: CRI above 82 as the standard option, or CRI 90 when accurate color matters — retail displays, galleries, and finish-sensitive spaces are the usual cases. Color temperature is selectable between 3000K, 4000K, and 6000K via a switch, so the fixture can be set after installation to match the room. This matters in spaces where the use changes — a lobby that hosts daytime work and evening events can shift between 4000K and 3000K without changing fixtures.
Power and electrical
Input voltage accepts 220-240VAC or 110-277VAC. The fixture is electrical Class II, so it does not require an earth connection. Power factor is above 0.9. The driver is built in, so there is no separate driver box to mount above the ceiling — one less component to fit in the cavity.
Beam and coverage
The beam angle is 120°, which spreads light widely across open floors and lobbies. For ceilings above 3 meters, the wide beam means fewer fixtures are needed to cover a given area. The optics control spill, so the light stays on the floor rather than washing the walls. In a large atrium, this is the difference between uniform floor illumination and patchy pools of light.
Construction and IP rating
The body is aluminum with PC optics, in white or black finish. The standard rating is IP42, which covers normal indoor use. IP54 is available as an option for dusty or damp areas such as corridors, workshops, and semi-exposed spaces. Choose the rating at order time; it is not field-convertible, so decide based on the actual environment before ordering.
Control options
Four functions are offered, selected at order: DALI for networked control in smart buildings, Triac dimming for standard wall dimmers, 0-10V for analog control systems, and an emergency version that keeps the fixture lit from a backup supply during a power outage. The emergency version needs separate wiring to the backup source, so factor that into the install.
Warranty and certifications
Warranty is 3 to 5 years depending on configuration. The fixture carries SAA, CE, and RoHS certifications.
Typical use cases
Large atriums and lobbies use the wide beam to fill high spaces with fewer fixtures. Retail and exhibition spaces use the CRI 90 option for merchandise. Offices retrofit the large-diameter housings into existing ceiling grids. Hotels use the low-profile body in ballrooms and corridors. Industrial and warehouse areas take the IP54 version for dusty environments.
