The ILED-HB5 100W is a flat-panel LED high bay luminaire with integrated reflector, designed for pendant mounting in warehouses, factories, retail stores and commercial buildings with ceiling heights between 3 m and 5 m. The HB5 series covers four wattage models — 100W, 120W, 150W and 200W — all delivering 130 lm/W from LumiLEDs 3030 LEDs inside a slim φ200 mm cylindrical body. The 100W model is the entry-level option, producing 13,000 lm from the shallowest 70 mm deep housing in the range.

Series comparison

The HB5 100W shares its φ200 mm housing diameter with the entire HB5 series but is distinguished by its 70 mm depth — the shallowest profile in the lineup. The 120W and 150W both increase to 100 mm depth, producing 15,600 lm and 19,500 lm respectively; the 200W steps up to 150 mm depth and 26,000 lm. All four models deliver 130 lm/W and carry the same IP65+IK10 ratings, CRI >82 standard, and 2800–6500K CCT range.

The 100W is ideal for spaces with lower ceiling heights (3–5 m) where the full output of the 120W or 150W would create excessive illuminance. Its compact 70 mm depth also makes it less visually prominent in retail and commercial ceilings where fixture visibility affects interior aesthetics. When selecting between models, match the lumen output to your ceiling height and illuminance target: spaces below 5 m generally benefit from the 100W, while 5–8 m ceilings may require the 120W or 150W.

Build and impact resistance

The HB5 100W housing is a slim cylindrical aluminium body (φ200 × 70 mm) with a black powder-coat finish. The reduced depth relative to the higher-wattage models accommodates a proportionally smaller heat sink and driver compartment while maintaining the same low-profile aesthetic suitable for visible ceiling installations in retail and commercial spaces.

The PC diffuser carries an IK10 impact rating — the highest standard for luminaires — absorbing a 5 joule impact (roughly a 1 kg mass dropped from 50 cm) without cracking. For warehouse and industrial settings where forklifts, overhead cranes and falling tools are routine, IK10 reduces replacement costs and liability over the warranty period. The IP65 seal protects the internal driver and LED array from dust and water jets, suitable for wash-down areas and unconditioned roof spaces.

Control and installation

The HB5 100W offers three optional upgrades: DALI 2-way dimming, emergency battery backup, and a corridor-mode motion sensor. These are not combined in a single SKU — select the features you need at order time.

DALI 2-way dimming adds individual fixture addressing (0–63) on a 2-wire bus, allowing group control, scene setting, and status feedback including lamp hours and fault codes. Up to 64 fixtures share one line. The HB5 does not accept 0-10V or TRIAC analog dimming — a DALI-to-analog converter is required if your building system uses those protocols.

The emergency battery provides approximately 90 minutes of light at reduced output during a power failure, satisfying egress lighting requirements in many jurisdictions. The corridor-mode motion sensor keeps the fixture at low stand-by output (around 30%) when unoccupied, then ramps to full brightness within 1–2 seconds of detecting movement — effective in storage aisles and low-traffic zones.

Installation uses a pendant-mount eyelet with an adjustable steel cable, hanging the fixture from the ceiling structure or mounting directly to a flat soffit. The Class I rating requires a protective earth connection. Universal 110–277VAC input covers both North American and European supply standards. This makes it the least visually prominent option for retail and commercial ceilings where fixture visibility affects interior aesthetics. Choose the 100W when ceiling height is 3–5 m and lower output is sufficient.

Beam angle standard. — The HB5 100W ships with a 120° beam angle as standard. Other angles are available as special orders at the time of purchase — they cannot be changed after manufacture. Confirm your beam angle requirement before ordering.

DALI is optional, not standard. — The HB5 100W base model is on/off only. DALI 2-way dimming is an optional upgrade selected at order time. The fixture does not accept 0-10V or TRIAC analog dimming — a DALI-to-analog converter is required if your BMS uses those protocols.

Motion sensor is optional. — The corridor-mode motion sensor is not built into the standard HB5 100W. It must be selected as an upgrade at order time and cannot be added retroactively.
