The ILED-CS-A S11 is the solar fairy string for the positions that have no socket and never will: the tree in the middle of the lawn, the fence line at the end of the garden, the gazebo nobody wired. The panel goes where the sun lands, the string goes where the display is, and the two metres of cable between them are what let those be different places.
The three lengths, and custom
The 5-meter string with 50 LEDs is the railing and the window-frame length. The 10-meter with 100 LEDs is the workhorse: the gazebo, the fence run, the shrub group. The 20-meter with 200 LEDs is the tree and the roofline length, wrapping the trunk or running the eaves in one piece. All three space the LEDs 10cm apart, the density that reads as a continuous line of light. Beyond the standard lengths, the factory builds custom lengths to the display — a measured fence line or a specific wrap count on a tree orders the string to match instead of doubling back. That option is the reason the range covers the professional displays as well as the home ones: the installer measures the run once and orders the strings to the measurement.
The solar side
The panel is a 1.2V 140mA unit charging an NI-MH 800 battery. Six hours of daylight charges the string for 6 to 8 hours of light, per the specification, and the working current is a steady 45mA. The photocell does the switching: the string charges through the day, lights at dusk and goes off at dawn, so the display runs itself across the season. On the thin-sun weeks, the timer keeps the discipline — set it once and the string spends its 6 hours on the evening that matters.
The two-metre cable
The cable between the panel and the string is the quiet point of the design. The panel needs the sun; the string often needs the shade — the north side of the fence, the branches under the canopy, the gazebo interior. Two metres of lead let the two halves sit where each works, instead of forcing the panel to live where the display is. Set the panel on the stake or the wall with the sun, run the lead to the string, and the geometry of the garden stops being a constraint.
Colours, modes and control
Nine colours: white, warm white, yellow, green, red, blue, pink, purple and multicolour, ordered per theme. The standard set runs constant lighting and one flash mode, with eight flash models available as options for the displays that want movement. Control comes from the button switch on the panel for the basics and the remote for the set — the range is listed with the remote per the model table.
Outdoors through the season
The string is IP65 rated — dust-tight and protected against water jets — and the wire is PVC per the specification, thin and bendable, wrapping branches and rails and coiling back after the season. Keep the panel connections sheltered and the panel face clean; a dusty panel charges like a shaded one, which is the maintenance nobody tells you about until the August display dims.
Where it gets used
Trees and shrubs, wrapped from the trunk through the branches on the 20-meter length. Fences, railings and balcony runs, where the 5 and 10-meter lengths match the line. Gazebos and pergolas, strung through the frame. Christmas rooflines and window frames. Wedding arbors and event structures, where the custom lengths match the build and no generator follows. In each of these the string runs on the photocell and the timer, charged by its own panel, and the only maintenance through the season is keeping the panel face clean.
