Triac dimmable refers to a type of dimming technology commonly used in lighting fixtures. Triac dimming utilizes a Triac (Triode for Alternating Current) switch to control the amount of electrical power supplied to a light source, thereby adjusting its brightness. The Triac switch rapidly turns on and off during each cycle of the alternating current, effectively reducing the power delivered to the light source.
