The ILED-WW-X4 is the four-colour member of the X-series wall washers: a one-metre linear fixture that sits at the base of a wall or against a facade and throws an even wash of light up the surface. It runs RGBW on 24VDC, which gives you full colour mixing for events plus a real white channel for the nights the building just needs to look right, with five white settings from 2000K to 6000K. The whole thing is IP67-sealed in grey aluminium with a tempered glass face, because wall washers live outdoors in the weather all year.
Three widths, one metre
All three models share the same 1000mm length and the same control. The 24W version is the slim one, 28mm wide, putting out 1500 lumens where the ledge or channel is tight. The 36W and 48W versions use a 36mm-wide body and step up to 2200 and 3200 lumens for taller walls or brighter colour work. Efficacy is 80 lumens per watt, which is the honest figure for a colour-mixing fixture: the filters and the RGBW chip layout cost output, and that is the trade for the colour range.
RGBW, not just RGB
The white channel is what separates this from an ordinary RGB washer. It has five settings, 2000K, 3000K, 4000K, 5000K and 6000K, so a facade can run a warm 2000K heritage wash, a neutral 4000K office look, or a cool 6000K modern scheme, all from the same fixture and the same console file. Mixing colour from RGB alone always gives a washed-out white; the dedicated white channel gives a clean one.
Pixel control over DMX512
Each metre is divided into pixel groups of six LEDs, addressed over DMX512. A console or a pixel controller can run the whole fixture as one wash or chase effects along the row, which is what makes dynamic crossovers, sweeps and building-wide sequences possible. Addressing is set per fixture, so rows stack together into zones the same way any DMX rig does.
Build and sealing
The body is aluminium with a tempered glass face, finished in grey. The rating is IP67 against dust and temporary immersion, which covers rain, washdown and the standing water that collects at the base of a wall. It runs on 24VDC and is Class III, so the supply sits in a dry location and only safety-extra-low voltage reaches the fixture, which is the right arrangement for something mounted where the public walks.
Choosing a lens
Three beam angles are available: 20, 30 and 60 degrees. The 20-degree lens suits tall walls where the fixture sits close to the base and the light has to climb. The 30-degree lens is the general-purpose pick for typical storey-height washes. The 60-degree version covers shorter walls and wider surfaces from the same run. Specifying per wall height rather than per project keeps the wash even across mixed elevations.
Where it gets used
Building facades are the main job: office blocks, hotels and retail frontages washing the elevation in white on ordinary nights and colour for events. Landscape walls, entrances and columns take the shorter runs. Bridges and public structures use the pixel control for crossovers and sequences. Bars, clubs and event spaces run the same fixtures indoors, where the chase effects come into their own.
Certifications and warranty
The ILED-WW-X4 carries SAA for Australia and New Zealand, CE for Europe, and RoHS. The warranty runs from three to five years, depending on the region and the terms of the order. The sealed body needs no routine work inside; a clean of the glass face during site maintenance keeps the wash even.
