The ILED-CS-A S3 is the fairy string that runs from the USB socket that is already there: the charger behind the shelf, the power bank in the drawer, the laptop port on the desk. Three lengths — 5, 10 and 20 meters — cover the shelf line to the fence run, and the whole string draws the class of load a phone charger handles, so the display plugs in and runs without an electrician.
The three lengths
The 5-meter string with 50 LEDs is the shelf, the mirror and the headboard length. The 10-meter with 100 LEDs is the window, the pergola and the party table run. The 20-meter with 200 LEDs wraps the larger trees and runs the long fence line. All three space the LEDs 10cm apart — the density that reads as a continuous line of light — and the factory builds custom lengths to the measured run.
USB power
The supply is 5V DC from a USB interface, which is what makes the string the indoor and covered-outdoor choice: the socket behind the bookshelf runs the shelf display, a power bank runs the party table where there is no socket, and the laptop port runs the desk decoration. The low-voltage supply also keeps the string safe around the fabrics, the foliage and the positions at hand height.
Colours, modes and control
Nine colours — white, warm white, yellow, green, red, blue, pink, purple and multicolour — ordered per theme. The remote runs eight flash modes plus constant lighting, and the timer holds the daily rhythm: 6 hours on, 18 off. For a shop window or a seasonal display, the timer is the feature that matters: set it once and the display lights itself every evening of the season.
IP65 for the covered outdoors
The string is IP65 rated — dust-tight and protected against water jets — and the wire is PVC per the specification, thin and bendable, wrapping the railings and the branches and coiling back after the season. It takes the covered terrace and the shopfront; keep the USB connection and the supply indoors or in a protected position, because that is the part no light string rates for full exposure.
Where it gets used
Bedrooms and living rooms, where the USB socket behind the bed or the sofa runs the headboard and the shelf display. Shop windows and shelves, where the timer lights the display every evening of the season. Wedding tables and backdrops, where a power bank runs the string with no cable to the wall, and a 10,000mAh bank carries the 100-meter string through the reception on its own. Mirrors, bottles and craft projects, where the thin wire wraps the shape. And the covered terraces and balconies, where the IP65 build takes the weather the indoor strings cannot. The PVC wire is the honest detail here: it is thin and bendable and wraps like the copper-wire strings the range is named after, but the spec sheet says PVC, and that is what the string is made of. What the material means in practice is simple — the wire holds the shape you wrap it into, takes the coiling at the end of the season without kinking, and wipes clean when the display comes down.
Choosing between the range
The CS-A family splits by power: the S3 runs on USB, the S4 adds three AA batteries for the positions without any supply, the S5 runs on the mains adapter for the 30 to 100-meter runs, and the solar models cover the garden. If the display lives near a USB socket or a power bank, the S3 is the simplest order — one supply type, no battery box to hide, no adapter at the wall. If the display moves between powered and unpowered positions, the S4’s dual supply is the one to compare.
