The ILED-BL60-A B replaces it like for like — a glass COB G4 on the same small pins, running a fraction of the power at the same compact size.
The three outputs
The 3W runs 280 to 300 lumens from a 49×13mm glass capsule, the size that suits the tightest holders. The 4W runs 380 to 400 lumens from 60×13mm. The 5W runs 480 to 500 lumens from 16×60mm, and it covers the brighter capsules in the larger multi-arm fittings. The three share the same pins and the same two colour bins, so a chandelier can mix outputs per position — brighter over the table, softer at the edges — while the capsules still read as one design. All three run a COB chip behind glass, so the capsule reads as one even light surface rather than a ring of dots — which is what the crystal and glass fittings need, because the capsule sits exposed inside them.
The COB and the glass
Two build choices separate this bulb from the cheaper G4 LEDs. The chip is COB — one chip, one even field — rather than a cluster of SMD points, so the light through crystal drops and glass shades stays smooth, and the sparkle reads from the crystal instead of from the LEDs behind it. The body is glass rather than plastic, which keeps the capsule looking like the halogen it replaces and handles the heat in the small enclosed holders the G4 socket usually lives in. Glass also stays clear over years behind crystal and glass shades, where some plastics cloud and dull the sparkle the fitting was bought for.
Voltage and fitting
The bulb runs direct on 220V or 110V, so it suits the European, Australian and North American fittings without a transformer. Two practical checks before ordering: the length, because the 60mm bodies are longer than the 49mm 3W and the small G4 holders vary in the space they leave behind the crystal; and the colour bin, because the 2700-3000K warm white and the 6000-6500K cool white ship separately and a fitting looks wrong with both mixed.

Swapping the halogens out
The swap is a same-afternoon job across a whole chandelier: switch off, pull each halogen capsule, push the G4 pins in, switch on. No transformer to rewire inside the chandelier body, no driver to find a home for, no fitting to modify. Two checks before ordering — the length of the bulb against the space behind the drops, and whether the fitting runs a dimmer, because the specification does not list dimming for this bulb and a non-dimmable bulb on a dimmer circuit misbehaves. For the fittings without a dimmer, the heat the old capsules pushed into the room and onto the crystals disappears with them, and the crystal stays cooler and cleaner between cleans.
