The FC-C1 is a recessed linear LED downlight built for low-glare accent lighting. Its head tilts after the housing is fixed, so the beam can be aimed at a wall, shelf, or work surface without moving the fixture. Glare is held below UGR 12, which keeps the fixture comfortable in rooms where people sit and look across the space. That combination is rare in a linear recessed unit: most fixtures of this shape either spread light too wide or cannot be aimed at all.
Models
Two models are available. The FC-C1 8W runs at 6-8W and delivers 480 lm. The FC-C1 16W runs at 12-18W and delivers 960 lm. Both use LumiLEDs LED sources and reach roughly 80 lm/W, which is the figure shown in the Highlights list. The two sizes cover different lengths of opening, so the choice depends on the width of the ceiling slot rather than on brightness alone.

Optics and color
Lenses are offered in 24° or 45°, selected at order. The 24° lens gives a tight beam for accent light; the 45° lens spreads wider for general coverage. Color temperature is selectable within 2700K-6500K, and CRI is above 92, so colors read accurately under the light. The lens angle is fixed when the unit is ordered and cannot be swapped after delivery, so the choice of optic should be made against the final ceiling plan.
Both CCT and dimming behavior follow the driver selected at order. A DALI version links into a building management system, a Triac version works with standard wall dimmers, and the 0-10V version uses a low-voltage control signal. These options are separate products under the same housing, so the control type has to be decided before the driver is fitted.
Construction
The housing is aluminum with a PC component, finished in white. The IP42 rating covers normal indoor dry locations. The tilt mechanism is part of the trim, so aiming is done by hand after the housing is seated. The white body keeps the fixture visually quiet in a plaster ceiling, and the low profile means the exposed face is thin, which matters when the fixture sits in a slot that continues across a room.
Controls and electrical
Input is 110-277VAC or 220-240VAC with power factor above 0.9. Control is chosen at order: DALI, Triac dimmable, 0-10V dimmable, Casambi, or emergency. The Casambi option runs over a wireless app and needs no extra control wiring, which keeps a retrofit simple where no control cable exists. The emergency version connects to a backup supply and requires separate wiring, so confirm the details with the sales team before ordering.
Installation
The fixture recesses into a plasterboard ceiling. Cut the opening to 135mm x 32mm for the 8W model or 255mm x 32mm for the 16W model, wire the driver, then seat the housing. Aim the head before the trim is locked into place, and adjust again later if the display or layout changes. Always switch off the supply at the breaker before wiring. The cutout is narrow, so the opening needs to be cut carefully to the specified width; a jigsaw or a router template keeps the slot straight.
Where it fits
The FC-C1 works where a linear light line is wanted but ceiling space is limited. Because it recesses rather than hangs, it suits rooms with low ceilings where a pendant would crowd the space. The low UGR rating also helps in rooms with screens, where a bright fixture overhead would reflect in displays. For shops, the 24° optic picks out product; for corridors, the 45° optic spreads the light along the walkway.
Certifications
The FC-C1 carries TUV, CE, RoHS, and SAA certification. If the project requires one of these marks on file, the documentation can be requested from the sales team.
