The BK-DEV is the DALI-2 DT6 driver from BOKE — the driver behind the strip and the fitting when the control system runs DALI. Six variants cover 80, 150 and 200 watts at 24VDC or 48VDC, and the dimming comes four ways on the same unit: DALI-2 on the DT6 address, pushDIM on the mains, the 1-10V analogue input and the 10V PWM signal — across a 1-100% range. The 12V auxiliary output powers the sensor or the control module beside the driver, the flicker-free metrics sit at Pst LM <1 and SVM <0.4, and the standby draw stays under 0.5W to meet ErP. The bodies run from 289mm to 369mm at 48mm wide and 30mm tall — IP20, SELV, built for the ceiling void and the cove.
The model ladder
Six variants split by wattage and output voltage. At 80 watts: the BK-DCV080-24V0D drives 3.4A of 24VDC strip, the BK-DCV080-48V0D drives 1.7A at 48V, both on a 289mm body. At 150 watts: 6.25A at 24V or 3.12A at 48V on 329mm. At 200 watts: 8.3A at 24V or 4.15A at 48V on 369mm. The width and the height stay constant across the range — 48mm by 30mm — so the mixed-wattage panel keeps one fixing pattern.
Four ways to dim
The driver dims four ways. DALI-2 runs on the DT6 address — each driver is one addressable channel, and the multiple-light dimming in the features rows brings the zones together on the same scene. PushDIM dims from the mains switch — press, hold and the driver steps the level, no control wiring. The 1-10V analogue input takes the dimmer panels, and the 10V PWM signal input takes the PWM sources. All four land on the same 1-100% range.
The 12V auxiliary output
The driver provides a 12V auxiliary output at 100mA — the power supply for the control module or the sensor beside it. That is the difference between the driver-and-sensor build and the driver-plus-a-separate-PSU build: the motion detector or the interface module draws its power from the driver’s auxiliary output, and the extra PSU, the extra termination and the extra point of failure leave the design.
Flicker-free, measured
Flicker-free carries numbers here: Pst LM below 1 and SVM below 0.4 — the two metrics the camera-visible and the workspace installs are judged on. The dimming stays soft at any brightness, per the features rows, and the 1-100% range means the low end is a real 1% — the conference room dims to setting, not to flicker.
Efficiency, PF and the input
The input is 220-240VAC, the efficiency runs above 90%, and the power factor reaches 0.99 — the figures the commercial energy models are built on. The standby draw stays under 0.5W, which meets the ErP requirement, and the surge protection sits at 2KV line-to-neutral and 2KV line/neutral-to-earth.
Working envelope and protection
The output is SELV with a Class I design, built for use outside the light per the features rows, and the IP20 rating keeps it in the ceiling void, the cove and the cabinet rather than the open wall. Ta runs to 55°C with Tc at 90°C, and the operation span is -20°C to +60°C. The bodies are sized at 48mm by 30mm cross-section, from 289mm to 369mm long.
Warranty and certifications
The warranty is five years, on the specifications page. The certification row carries SAA, CE and RoHS, and the features rows add UKCA, ENEC, RCM and the DALI-2 compliance the name leads with. For the commercial submittals, that is the list the specification writer copies.
