The ILED-PK-201A is the mini spotlight for the inside of cabinets: jewellery cases, watch displays, museum vitrines, wine cabinets and retail shelves. At 25×52×34mm it mounts out of sight on the cabinet top or shelf underside, and the 3W CREE LED puts a focused pool of light exactly where the merchandise sits. It is surface mounted with two screws, runs on mains or 12VDC, and comes in silver or black to disappear against the cabinet interior. The fitting replaces the halogen pucks that display cases traditionally used: same spot of light on the merchandise, a fraction of the heat into a sealed case, and no lamp to change on a Sunday morning before the shop opens.
Four beam angles
The optics are interchangeable at order: a 15-degree lens for jewellery cases, where the tightest beam picks a single piece out of a darkened case; 24 and 38 degrees for wider displays and shelf runs; and a 45-degree version for general cabinet wash. Because the beam is specified per fitting, a cabinet can mix narrow and wide optics on one shelf without the light fighting itself. A typical jewellery case runs the 15-degree optics over the ring trays at the front and the 38-degree fittings along the back wall, so the case reads as one lit scheme rather than a row of separate spots.
Mains or 12VDC
The fitting accepts 100-240VAC 50/60Hz or 12VDC. The 12VDC input is the practical path inside a display cabinet: a single low-voltage supply feeds the case, the wiring stays safe and thin, and each spotlight hangs off the same feed. Where the cabinet sits near a mains outlet instead, the 100-240VAC input covers it directly — one product line for both wiring styles. The 1-3W load also means a small supply runs a whole case: a dozen fittings on one feed is a normal layout, and the wiring stays at the thin end of what the cabinet joinery can hide.
Build and finish
The body is aluminium with a PC lens, finished in silver or black. It is Class II double-insulated, so no earth connection is needed inside the cabinet, and IP42-rated for dry indoor use — which is what a display case is. Colour temperature is specified at order across 2800K to 6000K, and colour rendering is above 80, so gold, silver and gemstones read in their true colours under the light.
Heat and cabinet safety
Heat is the reason display cabinets moved away from halogen, and it is the reason this fitting is built the way it is: the aluminium body doubles as the heat sink, and at 1-3W the surface stays safe to sit near fabrics, papers and finishes. The IP42 rating covers dry indoor cabinets — the intended environment — and the Class II double insulation means no earth terminal is needed inside the joinery.

Jewellery cabinets are the core application: the 15-degree optic over a ring tray, the 24-degree over a necklace stand. Museums and exhibition vitrines use the same fittings over documents and artefacts where heat and size are limited. Wine cabinets, kitchen shelves and bookcases take the wider optics, and retail counters run them over the merchandise line. Hotels use them over reception shelves and minibar alcoves. Across all of these, the specification pattern is the same: one fitting per piece or per bay, the optic chosen by the width of the object, and the colour temperature chosen once for the whole case so the metals and stones read consistently.
Certifications and warranty
The ILED-PK-201A carries CE, RoHS, SAA and TUV certification. The warranty is two years. The LED source is integral and needs no replacement; a dry wipe of the lens during cabinet cleaning keeps the beam clean.
