The ILED-CS-A S21 is a mason jar with a fairy string coiled inside it and a solar cap on top. It is the garden light that needs no wiring and no switching: the photocell charges the jar in daylight and lights it at dusk, and the jar sits on the table, the wall or the garden step doing its job until the season ends.
The three lengths
The string comes in three lengths: the S21 1 at 1 meter with 10 LEDs, the S21 2 at 2 meters with 20 LEDs, and the S21 3 at 3 meters with 30 LEDs, all spaced 10cm apart. The 1-meter jar is the table light; the 2-meter jar fills the coil denser and reads brighter; the 3-meter jar is the fullest coil, for the larger jars and the positions that carry the display. The LEDs are the high-quality type the specification calls for, spaced evenly so the coil reads as one glow inside the glass rather than a set of points.
The solar cap
The lid of the jar is the solar cap: a 1.2V 50mA panel charging the internal Li-ion battery through the daylight, with the photocell deciding when the light comes on. Six hours of charge runs the jar 6 to 8 hours, which covers the evening; the photocell handles the switching, so the jar lights at dusk and goes off at dawn without anyone touching it. The timer adds the discipline: set it and the light runs 6 hours and turns off for 18, which stretches the charge across the nights when the sun has been thin.
Colours and modes
The string comes in nine colours: white, warm white, yellow, green, red, blue, pink, purple and multicolour. One flash mode and constant lighting are standard, with eight flash models available as options for the displays that run movement. The remote controls the set from the terrace, which is why the jar suits the tables and the positions you do not want to climb to.
IP65 and the outdoors
The jar and the string are IP65 rated — dust-tight and protected against water jets — so the jar lives outside through the season, on the garden wall, the patio table and the balcony rail. The string material is PVC, which takes the weather and the coiling, and the jar itself is the standard mason-jar form, so a broken jar is a supermarket replacement rather than a spare part. Confirm the string length and the colour at order time; the jar travels without the string fitted so the coil is arranged when it arrives.

Setting the jar up
First charge matters: put the jar in the daylight with the cap up for a full day before the first evening, because the battery arrives part-charged and the first cycle sets the rhythm. Arrange the coil inside the jar by hand — evenly for the table, looser at the top for the display jar — and set the timer if the run hours are fixed. From there the jar runs itself: charged by day, lit at dusk, off by the timer or the dawn, and the remote covers the changes without lifting the lid.
