The ILED-OL-A MLC is the sensor version of the oyster ceiling light range, built for the rooms that are only ever half-occupied: corridors, stairwells, car park lobbies, storage rooms. Instead of running at full output around the clock, it dims down to a 20% standby level when nobody is there and comes back up the moment someone walks through — the behaviour that cuts corridor lighting bills without leaving the space dark. Two sizes cover the range: 18W at 1800 lumens on a φ326×98mm body, and 24W at 2400 lumens on φ395×113mm.
Sizes and output
Both models run 100 lumens per watt from LumiLEDs sources behind a 120-degree diffuser, with colour rendering above 83 — a step above the usual CRI 80 for a fitting at this level. Colour temperature spans 2800K to 7000K, specified at order, and the power factor sits above 0.9. The aluminium body with a PMMA diffuser paints up in white or silver, and the sensor hardware is integral — nothing mounts outside the fitting.
The corridor sensor
The built-in sensor is adjustable across every parameter that matters, set at the dip switches on the driver. Detection sensitivity runs at 10%, 50%, 75% or 100%. Hold time — how long the light stays at full after the last movement — selects between 5 seconds, 90 seconds, 3 minutes or 10 minutes. The daylight sensor can be set to 5, 15 or 50 lux or disabled, so the light ignores daylight-bright hours. The corridor function holds a low level for 0 to 30 seconds or 10 minutes after each full-output period. And the standby dimming level itself is set at 20%, with custom values available on request. Detection reaches 150 degrees wall-mounted or 360 degrees ceiling-mounted, at heights up to 6 meters. Because every parameter is set at the fitting rather than in a control system, the same product serves a bright entrance corridor and a windowless stairwell — the only difference is where the dip switches sit.
Build and mounting
The body is aluminium with a PMMA diffuser, painted white or silver, and the rating is IP21 — an indoor ceiling fitting, protected against vertically dripping water, not a bathroom or outdoor unit. Mount it on the ceiling at up to 6 meters, wire it direct to the mains, and set the sensor parameters before closing the body. Because the logic is built in, commissioning is a five-minute job per floor rather than a control-system programming task — which is the practical difference between this fitting and a DALI-sensor scheme on a smaller budget.
Electrical
The fixture runs on 220-240VAC or 110-277VAC, Class I wired, and there is no separate sensor head or control box to mount — the detection, the logic and the driver all sit inside the fitting.

Corridors and stairwells in housing blocks and offices are the core job: the light runs at 20% through the empty hours and returns to full as each door opens. Car park lobbies, storage rooms and plant rooms take the same behaviour, and in buildings with daylight along the corridor run, the lux threshold stops the fitting adding light the windows already provide. Hotels and student housing use it on the back-of-house floors, where the corridors are legally required to stay lit but see almost no traffic between midnight and six.
Certifications and warranty
The ILED-OL-A MLC carries SAA for Australia and New Zealand, CE and RoHS for Europe, and TUV. The fitting carries a three-to-five-year warranty, with the sensor function covered for three years. The sealed body needs no routine work inside; a wipe of the diffuser face keeps the output even, and the sensor parameters only need revisiting if the usage of the space changes.
