What it does
The ILED-DM2 A is a 3-zone single color dimmer controller for 12V and 24V LED strips. Three zones fade to their own levels, all on one color. It is driven by a 2.4G remote and by a push button on the body. There is no pair code and no app. It suits shops, offices, corridors, and homes where one color is enough.
3 zones, one color
Three zones means three independent fade levels, all on one color. Zone 1 can hold 100%, Zone 2 at 50%, and Zone 3 off. Use that to stage a room: 100% over the counter, 50% in the corridor, 0% under the bed. Each zone has its own 4A channel, so the three do not share a single dimming current. The layout suits a house where each room has its own strip and you want them to differ, but every one is the same warm white.
How it works
The 2.4G remote sends over radio, not over cables. Each channel has its own address, so the three zones fade independently without cross-talk. The remote is RF 2.4GHz, so no line of sight is needed. The receiver and remote keep their settings when the power goes off. The push button on the body does the same jobs as the remote, so you are not stuck if the remote is misplaced. There is no pairing step: power it up and it runs.
Output and dimming
Each of the three channels is rated at 4A, so the controller drives up to 144W on a 12V system or 288W on a 24V system. Dimming runs from 0 to 100%, and the fade is smooth. At low levels the strip holds a clean 10% without flicker. The output is a DC2.1 plus a screw terminal, so you can use a DC plug or a wire. For a long strip, run a separate 12V or 24V power supply to the strip and use this controller only for the dimming signal.
Power and connection
Feed the controller from a DC2.1 plug or from the screw terminal. It runs on a 12V to 24V DC supply. You need a matching 12V or 24V power supply sized to your strip, with a few volts above the strip’s nominal rating for the long runs. Do not exceed 4A on any one channel. For 3 zones, connect each strip’s plus and signal to its own channel and share the common ground.
Receiver and remote
The receiver measures L85 by W45 by H23mm and weighs 45g. The remote measures L150 by W40 by H13mm and weighs 60g. The remote fits in one hand and has buttons for each of the 3 zones. The receiver bolts to your desk or wall. Both carry their settings across a power cut. The packaging ships in a colorful box or skin pack, and OEM is supported.
Temperature and use sites
It is rated from -30C to +55C, which covers most indoor and sheltered outdoor use. For an outdoor install, mount it under a canopy where the sun does not hit it directly. The 2.4G signal needs a clear path or a short cable, not a wall between the remote and the receiver. The flicker-free output suits camera work, product photos, and retail displays. Use it where a dimmer that fades three zones on one color is the whole job.
Why single color fits most commercial rooms
Three zones of one color covers most commercial jobs: shops, offices, corridors, and museum cases. A single warm white is enough for a retail floor and a hallway. Where you do need color, the ILED-DM2 D (RGBW, 4 zones, 5A x 4CH) or the ILED-DM2 E (5-zone RGB+CCT, 5A x 5CH) are the right sibling. This one is the no-frills dimmer.
What is in the box
Each order ships one ILED-DM2 A receiver and one 2.4G remote, in a colorful box or skin pack. It has a DC2.1 input and screw terminals for 3 channels, plus 3 push buttons for local control. No cables, connectors, or power supply are included. Add a 12V or 24V supply and a matching strip.
What you need to supply
A 12V or 24V power supply sized to the strip. A strip that is within the 4A per channel limit. A mount for the receiver, and a clear path or a short cable for the remote. The remote battery comes with the unit. Everything else is in the box. Do not exceed the 4A per channel.
Where it gets used
Use the ILED-DM2 A on retail and office strips, corridor and under-cabinet lines, museum and display cases, and shop signage. It suits single-warm-white systems where three rooms each need a different brightness. For an RGB or CCT mix, move to a sibling model.
Why choose the ILED-DM2 A.
Three zones of one color, each with its own 4A channel, so you set a different brightness in three rooms on the same warm white. That covers a shop floor, a corridor, and a lounge where one warm white is all the design calls for, but each room needs its own level. The 2.4G remote fades the three zones independently with no pair code and no app, and the push button on the body covers the same jobs if the remote goes missing. The output draws a steady 0 to 100%, holds a clean 10% without flicker, and does not shimmer on camera. It is small, 45g, and bolts to a wall or desk, and it works from -30 to +55C. It ships in a colorful box or skin pack, and OEM packaging is supported. A matching power supply is not in the box. If you need only one color and three fade levels, this is the controller, and it is the simpler sibling of the CCT and RGBW models.
What does the 3-zone layout cover?
The ILED-DM2 A runs 3 independent fade zones, each on one color. Use them to set a different brightness in three rooms on the same warm white: the counter at 100%, the corridor at 50%, the under-bed at 0. Each zone has its own 4A channel, so the three do not share a current. It suits a house or shop where every room needs its own level, but all in one color. Where you do need a different color per room, an RGBW or a CCT model is the better fit. This one keeps it to one color with three levels, which is all most commercial strips need.
Will it flicker at low brightness?
No. The output is rated flicker-free and the fade is smooth across 0 to 100%. Even a 10% hold is clean, with no shimmer that shows up in some cheap dimmers. Use it for camera work, product photography, and storefront window lighting. If you dim a long strip, keep the power supply close so the last section holds its level. The flicker-free output is also what makes it work for a display case that is photographed or filmed.
Do I need to pair the remote?
No. The remote is RF 2.4GHz and talks to the receiver directly. Power up the receiver and the remote works, no code entry and no app. The settings stay when power is cut, so the controller is not reset when the breaker trips. Use the push button on the body if the remote is lost. The remote keeps its last settings across a power cut, so you do not need to re-set the three zones after a surge.
How far does the 2.4G remote reach?
It needs a clear path or a short cable. The 2.4G signal does not reliably go through a wall, so keep the remote and the receiver in view of each other. The remote body is L150 x W40 x H13mm and weighs 60g, so it is not hard to hold at a distance. The receiver is L85 x W45 x H23mm and weighs 45g. For an outdoor install, mount the receiver under a canopy where the sun does not hit it directly.
Put the ILED-DM2 A on retail and office strips, corridor and under-cabinet lines, museum and display cases, and shop signage. Its 3-zone layout suits a space where three rooms each need their own brightness on the same warm white: a display counter at 100%, a back corridor at 40%, and a lounge nook at 70. The flicker-free fade suits product photography, camera work, and storefront window lighting, where a clean low level matters. For an under-cabinet line, set it at a comfortable level and leave it. It is not for RGB color mixing, so where you need red, green, and blue, use the ILED-DM2 D (RGBW) or the ILED-DM2 E (5-zone RGB+CCT). Where you need a warm-cool mix, use the ILED-DM2 B. It is the clean, three-fade-level single color dimmer for jobs where one warm white and three levels is all the design needs. A corridor with 40% at the back and a lounge nook at 70% is a typical setup, and the counter holds 100% so the products read true. Set each level once and the 2.4G remote holds it, so the staff does not fiddle with the strips during a busy day.
Buy the ILED-DM2 A in its 3-zone single color form: 4A per channel, 3 channels, up to 144W at 12V or 288W at 24V, 0 to 100% dimming, an RF 2.4G remote plus 3 push buttons, and a -30 to +55C rating. The receiver is L85 x W45 x H23mm and weighs 45g, and the remote is L150 x W40 x H13mm and weighs 60g. It ships in a colorful box or skin pack, and OEM packaging is supported. A matching 12V or 24V power supply is not included, so size one to the strip and keep it under 4A per channel. For a CCT mix in the same 3-zone form, move to the ILED-DM2 B. For RGBW in four zones, move to the ILED-DM2 D. For 5-zone RGB+CCT, move to the ILED-DM2 E. This one is the three-level single color dimmer. Set each level once and the 2.4G remote holds it through the day.
