The ILED-FR8 is the pleated shade floor lamp of the range: a 36cm fabric shade with the pleats running down it, on an iron stem, standing 160cm tall. The pleats are the design and the function at once — they give the shade the texture the room reads, and they soften the bulb light into an even glow around the shade rather than a single bright point.
The pleated shade
The shade is fabric over the iron frame, pleated from top to bottom, and the yellow finish is the named colour of the range — the warm tone that suits the natural and mid-century interiors. Other colours are available, so a project with a defined scheme orders the shade to match. At 36cm the shade is the size that fills a corner at the scale the larger living rooms take, and the pleats hold their shape over the season of dusting and repositioning a household gives them.
The height
At 160cm this is the tallest floor lamp in the range — 10cm over the FR11 and FR12 — which puts the shade higher over the sofa and the armchair and spreads the light wider across the room. The 8 to 15 square meter rating matches that height: the lamp carries the larger living spaces where the shorter lamps read as side fittings rather than the room’s light.
The E27 socket is the source
The fixture takes a single E27 bulb, and the bulb sets the colour temperature, the brightness and the dimming. A warm 2700K LED at 800 to 1000 lumens is the living-room standard; a dimmable bulb paired with a compatible dimmer gives the evening fade the room runs on. Because the source is the bulb, an LED upgrade later is a bulb change, not a lamp replacement.
Installation and care
The lamp assembles from the base, the stem and the shade, and it plugs into the nearest wall socket — no wiring and no electrician, and the whole job runs from that one socket. The pleats dust with a soft brush or a vacuum on low, and the iron stem wipes with a dry cloth. The lamp is a dry indoor decorative fitting; it is not a bathroom or outdoor product. The assembly is the same three-part procedure the range follows — base, stem, shade — and the whole job runs from the nearest wall socket, which is why the lamp moves between rooms as the furniture does.
Où est-il utilisé ?
Living-room corners and sofa ends, where the 160cm height and the wide shade carry the larger rooms. Reading positions that share the room with the television, on a dimmable bulb. Bedrooms in the larger plans, where the pleated shade is the softer look. Hotel lounges and lobbies, where the yellow shade is the accent the neutral fit-out needs. And the retail and display corners, where the pleats are the texture the position asks for.
Faire son choix parmi la gamme
The CS-A floor lamps split by shade and scale: the FR8 is the pleated fabric shade on the tall 160cm stem for the 8 to 15 square meter rooms; the FR11 is the smooth fabric shade in four colourways on the 150cm stem for the 5 to 10 square meter rooms; the FR12 is the iron shade in black and white for the same rooms; and the FR9 is the gold crystal piece for the smaller and the statement positions. The choice is the shade and the scale — the E27 socket and the bulb logic are the same across the range, so the bulbs and the dimmers stay standard whichever model the room takes.
