The BK-DCV is the DALI-2 DT8 driver from BOKE — the driver behind the tunable-white strip when the control system runs DALI. Three variants cover 80, 150 and 200 watts of 24VDC constant voltage, and the DT8 type carries the colour temperature on the same DALI address as the dimming: one address runs the brightness and the tone together. pushDIM and pushCCT do the same from the mains switch, no control wiring, and the flicker-free metrics sit at Pst LM <1 and SVM <0.4 across the 1-100% range. The power factor reaches 0.99 at over 90% efficiency, the standby draw stays under 0.5W for ErP, and the bodies run from 241.5mm to 369mm at 48mm wide and 30mm tall — IP20, SELV, built for the ceiling void and the cove.
The model ladder
Three variants, all 24VDC constant voltage. The BK-DCV080-24V0D drives 3.4A of strip on a 241.5mm body; the BK-DCV150-24V0D drives 6.25A on 329mm; the BK-DCV200-24V0D drives 8.3A on 369mm. The width and the height stay constant across the range — 48mm by 30mm — so the mixed-wattage panel keeps one fixing pattern, and the length scales with the wattage: three sizes, three currents, one silhouette on the rail and in the void.
DT8: colour temperature on the address
DT8 is the DALI-2 type that carries the colour-temperature control on the same address as the dimming. Where the DT6 drivers take one address per channel, the DT8 driver runs the tunable-white fitting from one: the desk or the sensor sets the level and the tone together, and the multiple-light dimming brings the zones onto the same scene. For the tunable-white coves and the fitting rows, that halves the addressing and keeps the tone in the same command as the light — one address, one scene, both axes.
pushDIM and pushCCT
The mains push button does both jobs: pushDIM steps the level, pushCCT shifts the tone — press, hold and the run moves through brightness and colour temperature with no control wiring at all. That is the control path for the rooms that never got a DALI panel: the driver on the mains, the switch doing the dimming and the tuning, the DALI line taking over where the system does run.
Flicker-free, measured
Flicker-free carries numbers here: Pst LM below 1 and SVM below 0.4 — the two metrics the camera-visible and the workspace installs are judged on. The dimming stays soft at any brightness, and the 1-100% range means the low end is a real 1% — the room dims to setting, not to flicker, at every colour temperature on the way.
Efficiency, PF and the input
The input is 220-240VAC, the efficiency runs above 90%, and the power factor reaches 0.99 — the figures the commercial energy models are built on. The standby draw stays under 0.5W, which meets the ErP requirement, and the surge protection sits at 2KV line-to-neutral and 2KV line/neutral-to-earth.
The auxiliary output and the inputs
The features rows carry the 12V auxiliary output at 100mA — the power for the control module or the sensor beside the driver — and the analogue inputs: the 1-10V dimming and the 10V PWM signal, alongside the DALI-2 and the push control. One driver covering the control paths the mixed installs actually use.
Working envelope and protection
The output is SELV with a Class I design, built for use outside the light per the features rows, and the IP20 rating keeps it in the ceiling void, the cove and the cabinet rather than the open wall. Ta runs to 55°C with Tc at 90°C, and the operation span is -20°C to +60°C. The bodies sit at 48mm by 30mm cross-section, from 241.5mm to 369mm long.
Warranty and certifications
The warranty is five years, on the specifications page. The certification row carries SAA, CE and RoHS, and the features rows add UKCA, ENEC, RCM and the DALI-2 compliance the type leads with. For the commercial submittals, that is the list the specification writer copies.
