The 3CCT Watts Selectable LED Batten Light is built for practical, energy-efficient illumination in schools, offices, retail stores, warehouses, and parking structures. Two frame lengths cover most ceiling layouts: the 1200mm model runs 20–40W producing 2400–4800 lumens, and the 1500mm model runs 40–60W producing 4800–7200 lumens. Both share the same 62 mm width and 72 mm depth, giving a low-profile look that suits corridors, open-plan offices, and storage areas alike.
Tech specs
Both models accept 220–240VAC or 110–277VAC input, so one SKU covers regions with different mains voltages without requiring a separate driver. The built-in driver delivers a power factor above 0.9 and flicker-free operation, which matters for spaces where people spend extended periods under the lights — cameras, screens, and eyes all perform better without visible flicker. Three colour temperatures are available: 3000K (warm white), 4000K (neutral white), and 5000K (cool white). The factory defaults to 4000K, but a dip switch inside the driver lets you change the output on site without replacing any components. Wattage is also selectable by dip switch, so you can match the light output to the ceiling height and usage pattern of each zone.
The LED source is LM80 rated with CRI above 80, meaning colours render naturally without the washed-out look that cheap LEDs produce. The housing is iron steel with an integrated heat sink that draws thermal energy away from the LED board, keeping junction temperatures lower and supporting longer life. The PC diffuser is anti-UV and resistant to yellowing, so light output and colour consistency stay stable year after year. IK08 impact resistance covers typical indoor warehouse and workshop bumps. The fixture is Class I and carries SAA, CE, and ROHS certifications for compliance in most export markets.
Control and emergency variants
Three driver types are offered. The standard version runs on mains power only. The 0-10V variant accepts analogue dimming signals from a wall controller or building management system, letting you lower light output during daytime when natural light is sufficient. The DALI variant provides digital addressable control — each fixture can be individually addressed and grouped for zone-based scheduling and scene setting. A 3-hour emergency backup version is also available for corridors, stairwells, and exit routes that require certified escape lighting. Emergency versions include self-testing capability on request, so building managers can verify battery health without manual intervention.
Installation details
The batten supports surface-mount and pendant suspension. Cables enter from either end of the housing or from the bottom through the base, depending on your conduit layout. The hinge design is the key practical difference: instead of detaching the lamp body completely — which means handling a loose cover while you wire the base — the body stays connected to the base via a hinge. You unlock the base line, secure the base to the ceiling, connect the wires, then swing the body back into place. Fewer parts to manage and faster turnaround on large installations.
Where it fits
IP21 makes this an indoor-only fitting — it is protected against vertically dripping water and solid objects larger than 12.5 mm, but it is not sealed against splashes, humidity, or dust ingress. Do not install in uncovered car parks, wash-down areas, or exposed exterior walls. The iron steel body and IK08 rating make it suitable for environments where fixtures are exposed to occasional bumps and vibration, such as warehouses, workshops, and parking structures. The wide-voltage driver handles both 110V and 220V mains without modification, which simplifies specification for international projects.
