The ILED-TPR-B P1 is a basic LED triproof fitting built around a buckle-lock end cap system that removes the need to open the housing during wiring. The P1 designation identifies the 84 × 69 mm narrow-profile version in the ILED-TPR-B range — narrower than the ILED-TPR-A series (90 × 74 mm) and smaller still than the ILED-TPR-C M-series (95–110 mm). It comes in three sizes: 600 mm (20W), 1200 mm (40W), and 1500 mm (60W), covering small corridors to medium bays.

Buckle lock design
The P1’s defining feature is its buckle-lock end cap. Traditional triproof fittings require you to remove the end cap and expose the driver compartment to connect incoming and outgoing cables. The P1’s buckle lock lets you access the terminal block by simply releasing the end cap lever — no tools needed, no need to open the main housing. This cuts installation time and reduces the risk of misplacing small screws or damaging the seal during reassembly.
The lock is rated for repeated opening and closing across the product’s service life. When properly engaged, it maintains the IP65 seal around the end connection point, keeping dust and moisture out of the terminal area.
Installation and maintenance
The P1 is supplied as a complete unit with integral driver. Surface mounting uses the built-in fixing brackets — two points per fixture, suitable for concrete, timber, and metal ceiling structures. The PC diffuser is pre-fitted.
Maintenance is straightforward. The aluminium heat sink provides passive thermal management — no fans or moving parts. In standard conditions the LED source retains above 80% of initial lumens for the life of the warranty period. If the buckle lock mechanism becomes stiff over time, a light cleaning of the latch area with a dry cloth is usually sufficient to restore smooth operation.
Typical applications
The ILED-TPR-B P1 is suited to environments where a basic, tool-free-install triproof fitting is all that is needed. It does not include DALI2 control, emergency backup, or an IK impact rating — those features belong to the ILED-TPR-C M-series. Below are the applications customers specify the P1 for most often.
Storage corridors and light-duty warehouse aisles. — The narrow 84 × 69 mm profile fits where ceiling void space is tight, and the buckle lock means electricians can wire multiple fixtures quickly without carrying tools into the work area.
Car parks and undercroft areas. — IP65 sealing handles damp conditions and occasional wash-down. The broad CCT range (2800–7000K) lets specifiers choose the colour temperature that matches adjacent lighting.
Light assembly workshops and utility rooms. — The PC diffuser provides glare-reduced output suitable for spaces where workers look up frequently. CRI>80 ensures colour accuracy on materials and components.
Supermarket back-of-house and cold storage entrances. — The sealed PC housing tolerates the temperature swing between refrigerated areas and ambient corridors. No IK rating means it is not suited to high-impact zones — use the ILED-TPR-C M-series for those environments.
Retail stockrooms and service passages. — Basic on/off operation is all that is required in these spaces. The P1 delivers reliable illumination at a competitive price point without the added cost of smart control or emergency driver variants.
