The ILED-BH-R145 is the compact entry point of the Halo round bulkhead range. At φ145×65mm it is significantly smaller than the R20W (Ø300mm) and R275 (Ø275mm) models, making it the natural choice for narrow doorways, small stairwells and confined wall spaces where a larger bulkhead would look disproportionate. Despite its size, it delivers the same 110 lumens per watt efficiency as the larger models, so specifiers do not sacrifice output for form factor.
Tech specs at a glance
The ILED-BH-R145 is available in two wattage options. The 8W version produces 880 lumens. The 10W version produces 1100 lumens. Both deliver 110 lumens per watt from the same φ145×65mm housing. Input is 220-240VAC or 110-277VAC 50/60Hz, so the fixture works in most regions without a transformer. The colour temperature range is 2800K to 6500K — warm white, neutral and cool white — selectable at installation. Unlike the larger R20W and R275 models, the R145 does not offer 3CCT switchable versions; each SKU is factory-fixed at one colour temperature. Colour rendering is above 82. The beam angle is 120°, spreading light evenly across the floor. Four diffuser variants are available: Plain for general illumination, Grille Crossing (GL) for a softer diffuse pattern, Eyelid Half Moon (EL) for directional wall-washing or facade grazing, and Crossing (TL) for balanced spread with partial glare control. The die-cast aluminium body is IP65 rated — dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction — and IK10 rated, the highest impact resistance level for lighting equipment.
Build and installation
The housing is die-cast aluminium with a powder-coated finish in white, black or silver gray. The diffuser is anti-UV polycarbonate, available in four patterns as described above. The integral driver is sealed inside the housing — no external ballast or separate power supply is needed. Wiring is direct to mains through the terminal block. Electrical classification is Class I, requiring a protective earth connection. The fixture can be surface-mounted to a flat wall or ceiling using the four mounting points on the back plate. Due to its compact φ145mm diameter, the R145 is ideal for installations where space is limited — door frames, narrow corridors, small landings and tight wall openings.
Control options
This is a standard non-dimmable, non-controlled bulkhead. It switches on and off with the circuit — wall switch, timer or external sensor. For projects that require DALI dimming, motion sensing or emergency backup, order the larger R20W or R275 variants from the Halo round series instead. Those models offer the same IP65+IK10 protection with added control features, but their larger housing (Ø300mm or Ø275mm) means they will not fit the same tight spaces as the R145.
What is in the box
Each unit ships as a single bulkhead with the driver pre-installed, mounting hardware included and the terminal block ready for connection. The selected diffuser (Plain, GL, EL or TL) is factory-fitted and should not be removed after installation. No separate controllers, transformers or drivers are packed inside — the fixture is ready to wire direct to mains.
What you need to supply
A circuit breaker or wall switch for on/off control. A mounting surface suitable for the fixture weight. For outdoor installations, confirm the mounting location is within the IP65 protection zone and that the seal remains intact after installation. No special tools beyond a screwdriver and wire strippers are required.
Where it gets used
The ILED-BH-R145 is built for locations where the compact φ145×65mm housing is an advantage rather than a compromise. Residential front doors and back doors use the small footprint to provide security lighting without overwhelming the doorway. Apartment entrance corridors and stairwells benefit from the compact size — multiple units can be spaced closely along narrow walls without visual clutter. Hotel room corridors and bathroom doorways specify the R145 for the same reason: it delivers adequate illumination in tight spaces where a larger bulkhead would dominate the wall. External gateways, porch areas and balcony walls take advantage of the IP65 weatherproofing and the choice of diffuser patterns to控制 light spread and glare. The four diffuser options let a single compact housing serve general wash areas (Plain), softer diffuse paths (GL), directional accent positions (EL) or balanced spill (TL).
Certifications and warranty
The ILED-BH-R145 carries SAA, CE and RoHS certifications. SAA approval covers Australian and New Zealand market requirements. The warranty period is three to five years depending on the region and distributor terms.
