The ILED-BH-050 D is the big one in the BH-050 up-and-down family: two 18W CREE COB beams, one up the wall and one down, at CRI above 92, in a φ145×300mm cylinder. It is also the emergency version of the range — a battery keeps the fitting working through a power outage — which is why it ends up on escape-route doors, stair exits and the entrance walls of buildings that cannot go dark.
Five sizes in the family
The BH-050 series runs from small to large on the same design. The A model starts at 3W per beam in a φ64×160mm body; B steps to 6W at φ90×260mm; C reaches 9W at φ108×300mm; D — this fitting — carries 18W per beam in φ145×300mm; and E tops the range at 24W per beam in a taller φ160×450mm body. All share the same cylindrical look, the same IP65 sealing and the same control approach, so a building can scale the output per wall while keeping one product family on the spec.
The emergency function
The battery and its circuit are built into the fitting at the factory. When the mains fails, the emergency circuit keeps the fitting lit so the door and the route past it stay readable — which is the difference between an architectural wall light and one that belongs beside an exit. Specify the emergency version at order; it is not a field retrofit, and the emergency circuit should sit on the board that stays live for battery charging. Test the function on the maintenance schedule like any other emergency fitting, and record it the same way.
The up-and-down wash
Each beam runs an 18W CREE COB behind a 60-degree lens, one aiming up and one aiming down, with colour rendering above 92 — a figure that keeps stone, render and timber true after dark. At 3600 lumens total this is the brightest standard-height fitting in the family, sized for tall entrance walls and wide elevations where the smaller models would leave the upper wall dark. The 60-degree lenses keep the wash even on the surface rather than throwing it out from the wall, which is what keeps the effect architectural at this output.
Build and finish
The body is aluminium with tempered glass lenses, sealed to IP65 against dust and water jets from any direction, so it mounts on exposed facades in the full weather. The finish is black, grey or white. At 145mm across it is a visible part of the facade by day, which is why the three finishes matter as much as the light.
Electrical
The fixture runs on 220-240VAC or 120VAC, Class I wired, with the driver and emergency circuit inside the body. Colour temperature is specified at order across 2800K to 6500K — warm for heritage and hospitality walls, cooler for contemporary ones — and locked in, with no switch to change it afterwards.

Stair exits, podium doors and escape-route walls are the natural home, where the emergency function is the reason for the order. Entrance facades of hotels and offices take it for the output and the rendering, with the double wash marking the door. Courtyard walls, gate pillars and portico columns use it where the wide 60-degree beams cover more wall than the smaller family members can reach.
Certifications and warranty
The ILED-BH-050 D carries SAA for Australia and New Zealand, CE for Europe, and RoHS. The warranty runs two to three years depending on the configuration — confirm the term for the emergency version when you order. The sealed body needs no routine work inside; a clean of the glass faces during site maintenance keeps the wash even.
