The ILED-BH-O280 is an oval bulkhead light built for installations where a wider light spread is needed compared to the smaller O220 model. At 280×170mm the oval form covers more ground per fixture than a round equivalent, making it efficient for corridors, walkways and larger entryways where fewer units are preferred. The elongated shape aligns with the length of the space, spreading light along the passage rather than radiating outward in a circle.

The ILED-BH-O280 is available in two wattage options. The 15W version produces 1650 lumens. The 18W version produces 1800 lumens. Both deliver 100–110 lumens per watt from the same 280×170×90mm housing. Input is 220-240VAC or 110-277VAC 50/60Hz, so the fixture works in most regions without a transformer. The colour temperature range is 2800K to 6500K, selectable at installation — warm white, neutral, or cool white. Colour rendering is above 82. The beam angle is 120°, spreading light evenly across the floor. Four diffuser variants are available: Plain for general illumination, Grille Crossing (GL) for a softer diffuse pattern, Eyelid Half Moon (EL) for directional wall-washing or facade grazing, and Crossing (TL) for balanced spread with partial glare control. The die-cast aluminium body is IP65 rated — dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction.
Fabrication et installation
The housing is die-cast aluminium with a powder-coated finish in white, black or silver gray. The diffuser is anti-UV polycarbonate, available in four patterns as described above. The integral driver is sealed inside the housing — no external ballast or separate power supply is needed. Wiring is direct to mains through the terminal block. Electrical classification is Class I, requiring a protective earth connection. The fixture can be surface-mounted to a flat wall or ceiling using the four mounting points on the back plate, or recessed into a 280×170mm cutout if the construction allows.
Control options
This is a standard non-dimmable, non-controlled bulkhead. It switches on and off with the circuit — wall switch, timer, or external sensor. For projects that require DALI dimming, motion sensing, or photocell control, order the emergency or wall-packed variants from the same series instead.

Each unit ships as a single bulkhead with the driver pre-installed, mounting hardware included and the terminal block ready for connection. The selected diffuser (Plain, GL, EL or TL) is factory-fitted and should not be removed after installation. No separate controllers, transformers or drivers are packed inside — the fixture is ready to wire direct to mains.

For outdoor installations, confirm the mounting location is within the IP65 protection zone and that the seal remains intact after installation. No special tools beyond a screwdriver and wire strippers are required.

The ILED-BH-O280 carries SAA, CE and RoHS certifications. SAA approval covers Australian and New Zealand market requirements. The warranty period is three to five years depending on the region and distributor terms.
