The ILED-BH-016 E is the rectangular up-and-down wall light in the iLED exterior range: a slim 200×100×107mm fitting that throws a 5W beam up the wall and a 5W beam down from the same body. Where a round up-and-down light reads as a classic porch fitting, this rectangular one sits flatter and more architectural on the wall, which is why it ends up on contemporary facades, entrance recesses and garden features.
The up-and-down wash
Each fitting carries two 5W LED sources behind 60-degree lenses, one aiming up and one aiming down. The light climbs the wall above and spills down below, giving the facade depth after dark without any bright fitting at eye level. Colour rendering is above 80, and the colour temperature is specified at order across 2800K to 6500K — warm tones for brick and timber, cooler ones for render and concrete. At 5W per beam this is an accent, not a floodlight: it decorates the wall it sits on and marks the route past it, which is exactly the job on an entrance.
Build and finish
The body is aluminium with tempered glass lenses, closed on a silicone gasket and sealed to IP65 against dust and water jets from any direction, so it mounts on exposed walls that take the full weather. The finish is black or white — black for contemporary facades, white where the fitting should sit quietly against light render. At 107mm deep it stands off the wall just enough for the beams to clear the surface and wash it evenly, without the fitting reading as bulky from the path.
Electrical
The fixture runs on 220-240VAC or 120VAC, Class I wired, with the driver inside the body — no separate box to mount. There is no colour-temperature switch on the fitting, so the temperature is locked in at order; confirm it when you specify rather than on the ladder. The body opens from the back plate for the connection, then closes again over the gasket, so the seal is never compromised by a driver swap or a field repair.
Ce que vous devez fournir
You need the wall fixings suited to the surface — masonry plugs for brick and block, suitable screws for timber framing — and a switched circuit with a protective earth for the Class I connection. The Allen key for the body comes in the accessories. An electrician should make the hardwired connection per local code, and since the driver and LEDs are integral there is no lamp stock or spare driver to hold for the fitting.
Mounting
Installation is a surface mount onto the supplied back plate. An Allen key in the accessories opens the body from the plate; mark the fixing holes, drill and plug the wall, fix the plate, terminate the supply into the terminal block, and close the body over it. An electrician should handle the connection — it is a Class I fitting and the earth must land on its terminal.
Où est-il utilisé ?
Entrance doors and porch walls are the natural home, where the double wash marks the door without glare. Garden walls, gate pillars and courtyards take it for evening depth along the paths people actually use. On commercial fronts it runs along the elevation in a repeat, giving a hotel or restaurant wall a rhythm after dark. House side doors, garage approaches and stair walls fill out the rest of the order. Because the fitting is IP65, none of these positions need a canopy over them before the light can be specified.
Certifications
The ILED-BH-016 E carries SAA for Australia and New Zealand, CE for Europe, and RoHS. The sealed body needs no routine work inside; a wipe of the glass faces during site maintenance keeps the wash even.
