Portable Stage Lighting Kit for Churches and Bands

The battery changes the venue

The internal 9600mAh 18650 lithium pack is what makes the fixture portable in the practical sense. A church hall has no DMX outlets and no truss; a band’s stage is whatever the bar has left of its floor. The X2 stands upright on the floor at the front of the stage, mounts flat against a wall or pillar, or hangs from whatever the venue has, and it runs on the battery rather than the wall socket. Runtime depends on how hard the fixture is driven, so plan the set length on the show brightness rather than a single figure, and keep the AC100-250V charging input between shows. Because the input is 100-250V at 50/60Hz, the same fixture charges on any tour supply without a transformer.

RGBWAUV: six channels of colour

The light source is a 6-in-1 RGBWAUV LED array: red, green, blue, white, amber and UV in one engine, giving 16.7 million colour combinations from the DMX or the app. The white channel gives a clean key light for the band or the speaker. The amber channel warms the room past what red plus green can mix. The UV channel runs the fluorescent-effect looks that a youth night or a themed event asks for, which is the channel most 5-in-1 fixtures leave out. Beam angle is 15° for a defined front light or 40° for a broader wash, chosen at order time.

Control without a desk

Most churches and small bands do not run a lighting console, and the X2 is built for that. The fixture carries wired DMX512 for the venues that have a desk, 2.4G wireless DMX512 for a show rig without the cable run, master-slave linking so one fixture drives the others, self-propelled built-in programs, an infrared remote for quick changes, and a WiFi phone app for Apple and Android. Channel modes are 6, 8 or 10, so the fixture behaves as a simple colour wash or splits its channels for fuller control.
