The ILED-FX-2835 is a flexible white SMD 2835 LED strip offered in two density variants — 60 and 120 LEDs per metre — in three colour temperatures: Warm White (2700K–3000K), Commercial White (4000K), and Cool White (5500K–6500K). Each variant uses the standard 2835 SMD package — a dual-chip LED in a 2.8 mm × 3.5 mm housing — mounted on an 8 mm flexible printed circuit. Select the rating that matches your installation environment at order time — the silicone coating and connector type differ between variants and cannot be changed after manufacture. Do not mix IP ratings on the same run.

What is the difference between the 60 and 120 LED models?
The two models differ in LED density, power draw, and brightness. The 60 LEDs/m model draws 8–12 W/m and delivers 800–1200 lm/m, making it suitable for moderate-brightness applications such as residential under-cabinet and cove lighting. The 120 LEDs/m model draws 16–24 W/m and delivers 1600–2400 lm/m, designed for high-brightness commercial and retail applications. Both share the same 2835 SMD package, 120° beam angle, 8 mm width, and IP options.

Which input voltage should I use — 12VDC or 24VDC?
Both the 60 and 120 LEDs/m models support both 12VDC and 24VDC. For runs over 3 metres, 24VDC is recommended because it reduces voltage drop and maintains brightness consistency at the far end. For short runs or where 12VDC power supplies are already installed, either voltage works correctly.

Is CRI >90 available?
Yes, CRI >90 is available as an option for all three colour temperatures (Warm White, Commercial White, Cool White). Standard CRI is >80 across all variants. Specify the CRI >90 option at order time — it is not available as a post-purchase upgrade.

Which IP rating should I choose?
IP20 for dry indoor installations (ceiling coves, under-shelf, TV backlighting). IP65 for covered outdoor use (soffits, sheltered facades). IP67 for outdoor areas exposed to rain. Choose the FX-2835 when higher brightness per metre is needed; choose the FX-3528 when lower power consumption is preferred.

Residential and commercial task lighting.

Cuts at 25 mm intervals. — The FX-2835 cuts at 25 mm marked points on the PCB. Always cut at the marks — cutting between them breaks the circuit. The FX-3528 (14051) and FX-5050 RGB (14054) also cut at 25 mm; the COB-512 (13475) cuts at 62.5 mm.

Standard roll length is 5 metres. — Custom lengths are available on request. The 3M adhesive backing is standard in yellow; red backing is available as an option. The 15 cm input cable is standard — custom cable lengths can be specified at order time.

Static white — not addressable. — The FX-2835 produces a single uniform white colour along its entire length. It cannot display different colours on different sections simultaneously. For multi-zone colour effects, select an addressable RGB strip (WS2812B or DMX-controlled). The static design is simpler, more cost-effective, and more reliable for uniform white-light applications.
