The ILED-BH-015 C is a small up-and-down wall light built around a simple idea: two beams from one fitting, one up the wall and one down, marking an entrance or breaking up a dark facade without flooding it. It is a compact aluminium body with tempered glass lenses, finished in black or white, and it suits sheltered exterior walls — porches, entry recesses, covered balconies — rather than exposed ones.
The up-and-down wash
Each fitting carries two 3W LED sources, one behind the upper lens and one behind the lower, both with a wide 120-degree spread. The effect is the classic double wash: light climbing the wall above the fitting and spilling down the wall below it, which reads as deliberate architecture at night even though the fitting itself is small and mostly out of sight. Because the sources sit behind the lenses and face the wall, there is no direct glare into the eyes of anyone standing at the door.
Build and finish
The body is aluminium and the lenses are tempered glass, so the faces stand up to knocks and to cleaning better than plastic. The finish is black or white — black for contemporary facades, white where the fitting should sit quietly against a light wall. The rating is IP54: sealed against dust and splashing water, which is the right level for a porch, a covered balcony or an entry recess, and the honest way to say this is a light for sheltered walls rather than ones that take the full rain.
Electrical
The fixture runs on 220-240VAC or 120VAC, Class I wired, so it connects to the same circuits and switching as the interior lighting. Colour temperature options span 2800K to 6500K, specified at order — a warm 2800K or 3000K suits timber and brick entrances, while 4000K and above read more contemporary. Colour rendering is above 80. There is no driver box to mount separately; the electronics sit inside the body.
Mounting
It is a surface-mounted wall fitting. Fix the base to the wall, bring the cable in through the back or the base grommet, and close the body — a straightforward install at door height or above. Keep the location within the IP54 envelope: under a soffit, a canopy or a porch roof, or on a wall section that the prevailing rain does not reach.
Ce que vous devez fournir
You need a weatherproof cable gland or grommet sized to the incoming cable, the wall fixings suited to the surface — masonry anchors for brick and block, appropriate screws for timber framing — and a switched circuit with a protective earth for the Class I connection. An electrician handles the hardwired connection per local code. Nothing else is needed; there is no driver, transformer or control gear to buy separately, and no lamp to stock for replacement.
Où est-il utilisé ?
Front doors and entry recesses are the natural home, where the double wash marks the door without a bright fitting at eye level. Covered balconies and verandas use it for low, even light. Garage side doors, courtyard walls and garden gate posts take it where a canopy or overhang keeps the rain off. Cafés, guesthouses and small hotels run it along the entrance wall for a repeatable, warm look night after night.
Certifications and warranty
The ILED-BH-015 C carries SAA for Australia and New Zealand, CE for Europe, and RoHS. The warranty is one to three years, shorter than the range’s larger fittings, so confirm the term for the configuration you order. Beyond that there is nothing to service; the fitting is sealed and the LEDs are not replaceable in the field.
