What it does
The ILED-DM2 B is a 3-zone CCT dual color dimmer controller for 12V and 24V strips. Three zones mix warm and cool white on their own, so each zone can set both the color temperature and the brightness. It is driven by a 2.4G remote and a push button on the body. There is no pair code and no app. It suits shops, offices, and homes where you want one zone warm and another cool.
2 channels, 3 zones
Two channels: one warm white and one cool white. Mix them and each zone shifts color temperature between a warm white and a cool white. Three zones lets you put a different mix and a different brightness in three rooms: a warm reading nook at 60%, a neutral office at 90%, and a cool display case at 100. Each of the two channels is 6A, so the zones have headroom. The 2-channel layout suits a house where each room wants its own temperature.
How it works
The 2.4G remote sends over radio, not over cables. Each channel has its own address, so the three zones fade and tint independently. The remote is RF 2.4GHz, so no line of sight is needed. The receiver and remote keep their settings when the power goes off. The push button on the body does the same jobs as the remote. There is no pairing step: power it up and it runs.
Output and dimming
Each of the two channels is rated at 6A, so the controller drives up to 144W on a 12V system or 288W on a 24V system. The CCT mix moves between a warm white and a cool white, and dimming runs 0 to 100%. The fade and the tint are both smooth. The output is a DC2.1 plus a screw terminal. For a long strip, run a separate 12V or 24V power supply to the strip and use this for the signal.
Power and connection
Feed the controller from a DC2.1 plug or the screw terminal. It runs on a 12V to 24V DC supply. Use a matching power supply sized to the strip, a few volts above for the long runs. Do not exceed 6A on a channel. For 3 zones, wire the two channels (warm and cool white) of each zone and share the common ground.
Receiver and remote
The receiver measures L85 by W45 by H23mm and weighs 45g. The remote measures L150 by W40 by H13mm and weighs 60g. The remote holds the three zones, the warm-cool mix, and the dimming. It bolts the receiver to a wall. Both carry their settings across a power cut. The packaging ships in a colorful box or skin pack, and OEM is supported.
Temperature and use sites
It is rated from -30C to +55C, which covers most indoor and sheltered outdoor use. For an outdoor install, mount it under a canopy where the sun does not hit it directly. The 2.4G signal needs a clear path or a short cable, not a wall between the remote and the receiver. The flicker-free output suits camera work, product photos, and retail displays. Use it where dimming plus a warm-cool mix is the whole job.
CCT mix vs single color
The CCT dual color lets each zone shift temperature, not just brightness. That is worth it for a reading nook that wants warm and an office that wants cool in the same house. A single color model like the ILED-DM2 A is cheaper and enough where one color is all you need. For color, the ILED-DM2 D or the ILED-DM2 E. This one is the warm-cool dimmer.
