The ILED-FX-2835 60 is a flexible LED strip built around the SMD 2835 package at 60 LEDs per meter, offering white light in three temperatures. It sits in the middle of the 2835 range: brighter and denser than a low-count accent strip, but not as intense as the 120 piece version. That makes it the everyday workhorse for ambient and accent lighting where you want a clean, even white.
Aperçu des caractéristiques techniques
The strip runs on 12VDC or 24VDC, draws 8 to 12W per meter and puts out 800 to 1,200 lumen per meter with a 120 degree spread. Colour rendering is CRI above 80 as standard and above 90 on request. Each piece ships as a 5 meter roll, 8mm wide, cuttable in 25mm steps.
Why 60 LEDs per meter
Density decides how bright and how even the light is. At 60 LEDs per meter the strip gives a smooth, shadow-free line without the very high output of the 120 piece version, which suits coves, under-cabinet runs and ambient lighting better. It also draws less power than the denser strip, so it is easier to feed along a long line.
Dual voltage: 12V or 24V
You can have this strip on 12V or 24, and that is the main reason installers reach for it. A 12V version is simple and pairs with the small transformers used for short cove and cabinet runs. A 24V version drops less voltage down a long line, so it stays even when you are stringing it far, which is why 24 is the pick for long corridors and bigger rooms. Choose the voltage that fits your supply and the length of the run.
Choosing a white
This is a static white strip, so each piece is one temperature, not a mix. The three options are warm white for a soft, cosy look in living areas, commercial white for a balanced, general-purpose tone in work and shop spaces, and cool white for a brighter, cleaner light where visibility matters. Pick one before ordering; the strip cannot change temperature on the fly.
IP rating options
The same strip is offered in four protection ratings. IP20 is for dry indoor locations such as coves and cabinetry. IP65 handles covered outdoor and wet areas like eaves and facades. IP67 and IP68 are for where the strip gets fully wet or sits in harsh coastal air. Match the rating to the location, not the highest one on the list.
Fabrication et installation
The strip cuts cleanly in 25mm steps, so you trim it to fit instead of bending a longer piece. It is backed with 3M yellow double-sided tape, and a 3M red tape is available on request. A 15cm input cable is fitted to the leading end, and connector cables can be customized to a different length or plug. At 8mm wide it disappears into most coves and channels.
Contenu de la boîte
Each order ships with the strip as a 5 meter roll, the 3M yellow mounting tape, and the 15cm input cable on the connection end. Custom lengths are cut to order from the same roll.
Ce que vous devez fournir
You will need a power supply at 12VDC or 24VDC, matched to the strip version, sized for your total meters. For dimming, a compatible LED dimmer is available. If you are not hard-wiring, use an adapter or driver that matches the strip voltage.
Où est-il utilisé ?
As a mid-density white strip it shows up in cove and ceiling lighting, under-cabinet and under-bed zones, picture and window lighting, and general task lighting. Outdoors the IP65 and above versions handle eaves, facades and garden edges. The three white temperatures make it useful across homes, shops and offices.
Durée de vie et fiabilité
The SMD 2835 LEDs carry a 50,000 hour rated life, which at normal use is well past a decade. There are no moving parts and no fan, so the strip does not fail through heat. It works from -20 C to 50 C, and because it draws sensible power it stays cool even in tight, low-ventilation installs.
