The ILED-FL1 50W is a compact flat-panel LED flood light with DALI dimming, built for small-scale outdoor areas where targeted, uniform illumination is sufficient. Its rectangular housing — 239×284×53 mm — couples a 115° beam angle with approximately 6,500 lm output (130 lm/W) for even ground coverage from typical mounting heights. The die-cast aluminium body and tempered glass front carry an IP66 rating for sustained outdoor exposure, and universal 110–277VAC input supports compatibility across global markets, including North American and European regions.

115° beam for targeted wide-area lighting
The FL1 50W’s 115° beam angle is designed for applications where moderate, even illumination is needed across smaller floor areas. At typical mounting heights of 3–8 m, the 115° spread covers a focused elliptical footprint with minimal hot-spotting, making it well suited to residential driveways, small sports courts, loading bays and pathway lighting where full-site flood illumination is unnecessary. The rectangular housing projects light symmetrically across its longer axis, which aligns well with narrow or elongated spaces.
Compared with higher-wattage FL1 models (100W and 150W), the 50W variant requires fewer fixtures to cover the same small area at lower mounting heights, reducing both material costs and visual clutter. This makes the FL1 50W a practical choice for projects where coverage area is limited and energy efficiency is a priority.
DALI dimming for energy-efficient operation
The FL1 50W includes DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) dimming as a standard feature, allowing light output to be adjusted in response to ambient daylight or occupancy conditions. In residential or small commercial applications, DALI enables scheduled dimming during off-peak hours — for example, reducing output to 50% after midnight while maintaining sufficient security illumination. This programmable control can cut energy consumption significantly compared to fixed-output flood lights, without requiring external photocells or manual switching.
The DALI interface also supports centralised monitoring and fault reporting through a lighting management system, which is valuable for facility managers overseeing multiple flood light installations across a site. Each FL1 50W unit can be addressed individually, allowing zone-based control rather than whole-site on/off switching.
IP66 sealing for harsh outdoor environments
The FL1 50W carries an IP66 rating, meaning it is completely protected against dust ingress and can withstand powerful water jets from any direction. This makes it suitable for coastal sites, uncovered residential areas and light-industrial yards where rain, wind-driven spray and airborne particulates are constant exposure factors. The tempered glass front panel resists impact from debris and maintenance equipment far better than standard polycarbonate diffusers, and the die-cast aluminium housing with black powder-coat finish provides corrosion resistance in salty or chemically exposed environments.
The compact 53 mm depth of the FL1 50W housing is the lowest in the FL1 series, allowing it to mount close to soffits, eaves or wall brackets without protruding visibly. This ultra-low-profile design is particularly useful for residential and architectural applications where the fixture silhouette matters during daytime.
