The ILED-DL-A D10 is a recessed gimbal LED downlight with a rotatable head, built for shop and display lighting. The head turns after the housing is fixed, so the beam can be aimed at a shelf, a garment, or a display case without moving the fixture. The Citizen, Osram, Philips, or CREE COB source delivers around 100 lm/W, and the low-glare reflector keeps the source out of normal viewing angles.
Models
Five models cover the range:
- ILED-DL3-A D10 9W: 900 lm, body 95mm diameter by 70mm deep, cutout 75mm
- ILED-DL3-A D10 12W: 1200 lm, body 114mm diameter by 95mm deep, cutout 100mm
- ILED-DL4-A D10 20W: 2000 lm, body 138mm diameter by 120mm deep, cutout 128mm
- ILED-DL5-A D10 30W: 3000 lm, body 165mm diameter by 145mm deep, cutout 150mm
- ILED-DL6-A D10 45W: 4500 lm, body 190mm diameter by 165mm deep, cutout 175mm
Each model steps up in output and opening size, so the choice of cutout should be made against the final ceiling plan. The larger bodies also give more surface for heat dissipation around the COB source. The 9W model is the choice for a single shelf accent; the 45W model covers a wide display or a higher ceiling.
Optics and color
Lens options depend on the model. The 9W unit takes 24° or 45°. The 12W, 20W, 30W, and 45W units take 15°, 24°, 38°, or 60°. The 15° optic is a tight spot for a single shelf or picture; the 24° and 38° optics suit display lighting and general coverage; the 60° optic spreads widest for open areas. The lens is fixed when the unit is ordered and cannot be swapped after delivery. Color temperature is selectable within 2700K-5000K, and CRI is above 92, so fabric and finish colors read accurately under the light.
Construction
The housing is aluminum with a PC component, finished in white or black, chosen at order. The IP rating is IP42 or IP44, so the fixture is fine for dry indoor rooms and the higher grade adds protection against splashes. The electrical classification is Class II. The gimbal head is part of the trim, so aiming is done by hand after the housing is seated.
Controls and electrical
Input is 100V~240VAC 50/60Hz with power factor above 0.9. Control is chosen at order: DALI dimmable, Triac dimmable, 0-10V dimmable, or emergency. The DALI version links into a building management system; the Triac version works with standard wall dimmers; the 0-10V version uses a low-voltage control signal. The emergency version connects to a backup supply and requires separate wiring, so confirm the details with the sales team before ordering.
Installation
The fixture recesses into a plasterboard ceiling. Cut a round opening to the cutout size for the model, wire the driver, then seat the housing. Aim the head before the trim is locked into place, and adjust again later if the display changes. Always switch off the supply at the breaker before wiring. A standard hole saw of the right diameter is enough; no template is needed.
Where it fits
The D10 suits shops, showrooms, museums, and hotels where a small accent light has to be aimed at a specific spot. In a store, a row of 15° or 24° units picks out products while leaving the aisle darker. In a gallery, the gimbal head lets the beam follow a new display without moving the fixture. Because the head rotates, the same housing can aim at a wall, a table, or straight down.
Warranty and certifications
The ILED-DL-A D10 carries CE, RoHS, SAA, and TUV certification, and is covered by a 3-5 year warranty. If the project needs certification documents on file, they can be requested from the sales team.
