The ILED-RL-Q5 is the embedded stud for the motorway and the highway slip: a cast-aluminium body set flush into the road surface, three super-brightness 10mm LEDs per side behind the polycarbonate window, and the visibility running roughly 1000 meters — the distance at which a driver on a slip road picks the guidance up before the bend. It is the stud for the positions where the traffic crosses at speed and the line has to read early.
Embedded in the road
The body sets flush into the surface at Ф120×50mm and 0.7kg — the install the road contractors cut and set, with the solar face up and the polycarbonate window taking the traffic. Embedded is the difference from the surface studs: the body sits in the lane the vehicles cross, which is why the load rating runs 30 tons.
Visible from 1000 meters

The solar supply
The 2.5V 180mA mono-crystalline panel charges the 1.2V 600mAh NI-MH battery through the day, and the stud runs 72 hours on a full charge — flashing at 2Hz ±20% or constant, per the mode set. The photocell switches the light on below 500 lux (adjustable per request), so the marking hands over to the LEDs as the dusk settles.
Built for the motorway load
The cast-aluminium body carries 30 tons — the load a heavy vehicle puts on the stud at motorway speed. The working temperature runs -30°C to +70°C, and the NI-MH battery is rated two years with the stud, which is the service cycle to plan the replacements around.
Five colours for the road logic
The LEDs come in red, white, yellow, blue and green, ordered against the road logic: white for the lane lines, red and green for the edges and the direction markers, yellow and blue for the special positions. One or two-sided illumination and flashing or constant are set per position.
